Super Kawaii

Recently i have been rekindling my love for all things super kawaii (super cute) i have always had a secret love of all things Japanese but more recently my interest for Korean makeup has been growing. In these countries far more detail is put into the final appearance of each product making them more desirable. And I'm sure by now you have all come to notice my love for pretty and unusual cosmetics. So here's a sneaky little preview of some reviews i will be doing in the coming months. I will be testing out three very different Korean makeup brands; Holika Holika, Etude House and Peripera.

Korean brand Etude House develops high quality skincare and cosmetic products at affordable prices. Created with young women in mind, the brand offers a wide color palette and whimsical packaging that call to young girl's sweet and romantic nature. If Disney princesses were real people they would buy all of their makeup from Etude House. This brand really caught my eye with their Princess Etoinette collection, which features some beautiful pink ornate packaging.

Established in 2006, Peripera appeals to the modern woman with its makeup collection emphasizing bright lip, eye and nail colours that hint at romance. The eye-catching hues are complemented by equally color-saturated and youthful packaging. The brand targets young, independent women with a strong sense of self and who prize individuality. Peripera's packaging are decorated with images of women, most of whom are very different looking characters who dare you to be bold and find your own individuality

Holika Holika looks at its line of makeup and skincare as a form of magic that helps beauty lovers transform into more enchanting versions of themselves. The brand uses unusual ingredients such as black caviar, aloe vera, green tea and charcoal to bring out skin's natural radiance. In addition to creating an array of beauty and skincare for products, Holika Holika carries a line of hair and face products for men. Somewhat similar to the American brand Lime Crime, they both make cute looking products inspired by magic and fairy tales. Holika are more focused on the magic side of this and many of their products feature witches and black cats. On top of that they have the most beautiful stores i have ever seen made ever more amazing by night.

I look forward to trying these out and finding weather the products are as good as they look. Keep an eye out for these soon.
