The Body Shop Beauty Advent Calendar 2014

There's a new kid on the beauty calendar block, more importantly a cruelty free one and it comes from our friends at the Body Shop. The Body Shop have created their own festive looking calendar filled to the brim with 24 cruelty free products. It includes such lovelies as their new Argan Oil products, nail polishes and their iconic body butters. By purchasing the calendar you aren't just receiving a gift, you are also giving to a good cause. This holiday season, the Body Shop are working with War Child, a global charity aiding children impacted by the effects of war. Each calendar sold enables a child from a war torn country to attend a class at school, something most of us took for granted as children. It may still seem like it's a long time coming but everywhere you look small speckles of Christmas are creeping out of every corner. Now that the weather is no longer a thousand degrees and leaves have started to fall i have been preparing myself for the coming months. So now is as good a time as any to tell you about a fun and Festive blogging event.

The lovely Lucie (FatBeautyX) is hosting and International Beauty Swap for makeup obsessed junkies everywhere (myself included). It's a great opportunity to receive some goodies that aren't available in your country or to just try something new. The budget is £20/$30, shipping costs are not included in the total price.

You will be asked a few questions about beauty likes and dislikes via email in order to find your perfect beauty buddy. On the 1st December you will receive all the details about your swappers ideal box of goodies, giving plenty of time for shipping before Xmas day.
